Your Sacred Bedtime Ritual
Letâ€™s face it, we all need a good nightâ€™s sleep!Â Being sleep deprived leaves us feeling irritable which hinders us from fulling stepping into the Goddess we are meant to be. Trust me, I have struggled with sleep for years until I started a bedtime ritual.
Ritual work has literally saved me during my darkest hours.Â When I feel filled with anxiety, it helps to calm me down, andÂ I am now sleeping med free and on my own after 22 years of insomnia.Â
I love doing Ritual Work!Â It helps you to focus your energy on the task at hand and as one of my favorite quotes says,Â “Energy flows where our attention goes”! Focusing your attention on decompressing before bed will significantly enhance your sleep!
Did you know that about 70 million people suffer from sleep deprivation?Â Getting enough sleep is so important for our bodies to rejuvenate themselves and be ready for a new day. To name a few of the benefits, getting enough sleep helpsÂ regulate our hormoneswhich control our weight. Getting enough sleep also helps us toÂ better handle stress,Â improves our immune system, andÂ cardiovascular health.
When we donâ€™t get enough sleep it negatively affects our moods and personality. It makes decision making much more difficult.
Our Pineal Gland releases the hormone melatonin which tells the body it is time for sleep. Turn off electronics and turn down the lights.Â This tells the Pineal Gland that it is time for sleep.
Below is my bedtime ritual that I am super excited to share with you.Â By incorporating this ritual before bed at night my hope is that you will be sleeping much more soundly and feeling rejuvenated in the morning.
Holistic RX Remedy for Bedtime Ritual
Crystals~Â Auralite 23, Lepidolite, Labradorite, Howlite, Angelite, Rose Quartz, Moonstone
Essential Oils~Â Lavender, Serenity blend, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver
Meditation~Â 4-7-8 Breathing
Affirmation~Â I release all Negative thoughts, worries, and emotions, I am supported to sleep deeply
Yoga poses~Â cat / cow stretch, forward bend, savasana
You can start, if time allows, with a warm bath.
Next, gather any or all of the above crystals.
Set aside a quiet space where you wonâ€™t be interrupted.
Diffuse and rub your essentials onto your feet.
Have a cup of Chamomile tea to sip and begin by sitting in a comfortable position.
Begin your practice by reciting the above affirmation or one that resonates with you.
Next, begin the 4-7-8 breathing. Inhale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 7, exhale for a count of 8 and repeat.
Next, do the yoga poses I provided above.
Lastly, listening to some relaxing music lay down and prepare for deep regenerate sleep.

When you wake in the morning journal fist thing, even if just a couple of sentences to help you keep track of your sleep and record any new insights that have come to you during your sleep.
